Pupils Learn About the Dangers of Ketamine

Pupils recently welcomed speakers from the Blackpool Awaken team and NHS Blackpool into school for an important session about the dangers of ketamine.

The visitors explained the serious physical and mental health risks linked to ketamine use and discussed how the drug is becoming increasingly prevalent within the local area. They provided pupils with clear, age-appropriate information to help them understand the risks and make safe, informed choices.

The speakers were extremely engaging, and pupils listened carefully throughout the session. They showed excellent concentration, contributed thoughtfully to discussions and asked a range of sensible and mature questions.

The session was both informative and thought-provoking. It gave pupils a valuable opportunity to learn directly from professionals and increased their awareness of an important issue affecting young people within the local community.

We would like to thank the Blackpool Awaken team and NHS Blackpool for giving their time and delivering such an engaging and worthwhile session.
